Itty Bitty Baby Sock Monkey

It's itty bitty! Teenie tiny! A baby sock monkey. A retarded baby sock monkey, but hey it's the first time I tried to make one so small. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it, but here he is - and I think he's darn cute! Ok, you can see all his stitches, one leg is fatter than the other, his arms are lopsided, and his ears are squashed; but damn he's cute. More to come, I'm sure!

You must, must, must make some more of these...at least 4 or 5 so I can buy them all, ok? His retardation just adds to his charm and makes him feel like home to me. He is just adorable doll, adorable! Thanks for posting him so quick....I was anxious to see him finished.

*snicker* I'm glad you like him. He was really fun to make. I'm creating his slighter larger sister currently, and I dug a handful of other pairs of the itty bitty socks out of the pillow. As many as I could find. I'll have to count them and see. I just used a sharpie to fill his eyes in. I tried stitching them, but without the embroidery thread it was useless! I think he's so cute!!!

Sharpie...floss? Who cares? He is adorable. If you run out of socks I can send you some. I am sure I have a bunch of bitty ones around here somewhere....
